Why I built it

It started with one family league.

Our family, friends and co-workers ran a score contest for this summer's World Cup. The winner was called The Hegemon. The points were never really the only point. What kept us glued were the arguments, the comebacks, and the crown changing heads at the worst possible moment. A spreadsheet can count goals, but it cannot tell that story. So I built the game we wanted to keep playing. Now it's your group's turn. I hope the crown causes as much trouble at your table as it does at ours.
